If chocolate is your thing, you do not want to miss this event. The theme for this year's festival is "Berried in Chocolate." The festival is held in the National Guard Armory Building.
The festival begins at noon; the auction begins at 1 p.m. Contestants bring their favorite chocolate creation for judging, tasting and the auction.
Additional items for the auction are donated by individuals and local businesses. Proceeds benefit the Christos House, a women's and children's shelter in West Plains.
Admission is free; 'tasting tickets' are ten for $5.
Celebrate Mardi Gras at the Lake's biggest winter event. More than 20 bars and restaurants around the Lake of the Ozarks participate in the huge event.
A $10 wristband gets you access to ride the buses, as well as entry in to all participating locations – including pick up and drop off to sponsoring hotels. Scan our website for details, locations and wristband information.

The 3rd Annual West Plains BrewFest, held at the West Plains Civic Center, is a great way to sample some of the best Missouri and nationally known craft beers while donating to local arts exhibits, performances, workshops, and an arts scholarship for a local student of fine art.
Admission is $25 at the door, cash only. Advance tickets are $20, available at West Plains Civic Center. No one under 21 will be admitted; must have valid photo ID.
First 250 attendees get a souvenir tasting glass.
Get ready to be drenched in a decadent good time in downtown Hannibal! Your chocolate passport allows you tons of selections, from scrumptious bon bons to chocolate martinis. A chocolate lover's dream!
Downtown Excelsior Partnership will be hosting our annual Chocolate Tour on Sat., Feb. 7 (1 p.m.-5 p.m.). Various downtown merchants get creative with their chocolates, and you are the one that gets to enjoy it. Tickets may be purchased online at www.visitexcelsior.com or from the Visitor Center located in the Hall of Waters. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 the day of the event.
