Fish for more than 200 fish species in Missouri, including blue gill, bass, paddlefish, catfish and trout. Missouri has more than a million acres of surface waters, most of which offer great fishing. The white water area of the St. Francis River, both lovely and exciting. Water cascades over a historic dam at the abandoned silver mine and 200-foot bluffs loom over the one-mile scenic hiking trail. There is a one-mile long trail along each side of the river. From Turkey Creek Picnic Area, a 1.2 mile trail to the north leads to Millstream Garden Conservation Area, managed by the Missouri Department of Conservation. 66 campsites with 9 double sites and 1 is a group site, each with table, lantern post and fire ring. Some site have electrical hookups available and some sites support RV and trailers up to 40 feet in length. Drinking Water and Vault Toilets are centrally located. Two picnic areas each containing 5 picnic units, each with picnic table and grill.

Thirteen miles south of Rolla on the Little Piney River. A picnic area, pavilions, hiking trails and camping. Two trails and the creek; a Wild Trout Management area; and a shady overlook that's a favorite wedding spot.

The forest covers 1.5 million acres of Ozark highlands in southern and central Missouri. Great plant and animal diversity. Old mountains, springs, caves and barren glades. Hiking, riding trails, fishing, motorcycle and ATV trails.

Two trailheads serve 30-mile Eleven Point River Trail. The trail is popular as an equestrian trail. It's tough to cover the whole trail in one day, even on horseback so allow plenty of time. Please limit your party to no more than 10.
