This is a step-on tour guide service. Jim Smith is your guide through the largest Old Order Amish settlement west of the Mississippi River. These are some of most primitive, strictest Amish in the world. You will experience daily life still being lived as it was 100 years ago, with no electricity and only horses for transportation and work. The two-and-a-half hour tour takes you through an Amish farmhouse, stables and farm. Learn how and why the Amish live as they do. The tour stops at Amish country stores, where you may purchase Amish crafted furniture, baskets, quilts, spices, and bakery items. Tour: $6 per person ($30 minimum).
