The visitor center overlooks Truman Lake and Dam, and holds exhibits on the history of the Osage Valley. A log cabin, one-room school house, and the Hooper House are on the grounds.

This 18,600-acre lake is ideal for a day on the water. Also enjoy equestrian trails, walking trails, and sleeping under the stars. Offers great fishing; known for crappie and bass tournaments. There are stocked ponds for those without boats.

Camping is available in four Corps of Engineers developed recreation areas; some with full hookups; most have electric, fire grills, lantern hangers, picnic tables and asphalt pads. Areas have showers, restrooms, sanitary stations, trails, scenic overlooks, launch ramps, and beaches and playgrounds.

A 7,200-acre lake with swimming, fishing, sailing and boating. Surrounded by golf courses, campgrounds and trails for hiking, biking and horseback riding. Two marinas with boat rentals.

Ellsinore 63901
Built in the late 1970s to provide fishing, camping and hiking. Adjacent to Route 60, two miles west of Ellsinore. Campground is closed. No drinking water available.
