Float the river in canoes, rafts or tubes. Take advantage of all-you-can-eat meals at the Bearcat Bistro. A fully stocked general store with food bar is on-site. Catered camping packages and group discounts are available. Located 20 minutes from Johnson's Shut-ins, 15 minutes from Taum Sauk Mountain State Park, 35 minutes from Elephant Rocks State Park and 30 minutes from Fort Davidson State Historic Site, scene of the civil war battle of Pilot Knob.

This is a 37-acre RV resort in the Ozark Mountains that earned Good Sam Award of Excellence, Top 100 Rated Parks for 2009. Big-rig friendly, with level sites, many are pull-thru. Concrete sites and streets. All sites have free Wi-Fi and cable TV, a fire ring, picnic table, and grill. There are eight rustic cabins, plus one cottage with a kitchen and bath. Park facilities include showers, restrooms, laundry, enclosed pavilion with kitchen, and a dump station. The country store sells fresh pizza, ice cream, groceries, gifts, RV supplies and discounted show tickets. A pool, hot-tub, walking trail, playground, horseshoes, basketball court, planned activities and hay rides are available/on-site. Breakfast is available on weekends. The resort is a half-mile from Bull Shoals Lake, three miles from Lake Taneycomo and 10 miles from Branson Landing. The resort is open year-round, but offers limited services from December-March.

Many visitors to the area tour the birthplace of world-famous humorist and writer Mark Twain (Samuel Clemens) in the nearby state park, or tour the shops and relive the tales of Mark Twain in the nearby town of Hannibal, Missouri. The Ray Behrens Recreation Area at Mark Twain Lake provides 165 campsites, with restrooms, showers, playgrounds, boat ramp, marina, hiking trails, picnic area, and picnic shelter.
