The Victorian woodwork, windows, doors, and wood floors have been preserved and restored to show off their original character. Antique furnishings and period light fixtures are featured throughout, but modern day comforts abound. We have off-street parking, a back yard with 100+ year old shade trees, and a front porch with a large, comfortable swing. A 15-acre resort on the banks of the Sac River at the Caplinger Mills Bridge. Our restored three-bedroom Civil War Mill House accommodates eight; the four cabins each accommodate six. The Mill, built in 1842, burned down several times; twice during the Civil War by Shelby's Raiders. The mill ruins, the dam and the restored bridge are listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. On the quiet and calm Big Niangua arm of the Lake of the Ozarks. All cabins are lakeside. Cabins include: a full kitchen with appliances; microwave; dishes; cookware; toaster; coffee pot; private decks with furniture; and a charcoal grill. We have slips for your boat, as well as a ramp and trailer parking. Boat rentals are available on-site.

Fully furnished lodges sleep 22. Each of the six bedrooms is a master suite with a private bathroom. The quality of our lodges is not what you would expect to find in most cabins. The great room has two-story ceilings, a stone gas fireplace, upscale furniture and a flat panel television. The completely furnished kitchen includes wood cabinets, side by side fridge with water and ice, flat top stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal, dishes, cookware and flatware. The laundry room has an oversized washer and dryer. The screened in porch includes a grill with a rotisserie. Located across from Silver Dollar City.
