This rustic resort was built in the early 1920s. Guests will have access to a fishing pond (pay for any catfish you catch and keep), volleyball and badminton courts, and 1,200 feet of Gasconade River frontage. There are four cabins with full kitchenettes, window air conditioners and full restrooms with showers. The centerpiece of the property is the Cave Restaurant, a full-service restaurant that serves steaks, barbecue, seafood and Italian fare. The restaurant seats about 200. There is live music on Friday and Saturday nights. Outdoor catfish frys are held in the picnic area on Friday and Saturday nights. Guests who dine in the restaurant will take a shuttle from the parking lot to the cave. From October-March, call to verify hours. Room rates are based on double occupancy; rates increase by $10 per additional guest.

Situated on a 360-acre lake surrounded by 5,200 acres of forest-covered hills. This year-round, not-for-profit, family getaway and conference center is 90 minutes south of St. Louis. Rates include accommodations, three full meals and most activities. Choose from guestrooms, two-story loft suites, or two-bedroom private cabins. There are no telephones or televisions in the rooms or cabins. Trout Lodge is part of YMCA of the Ozarks, a branch of the YMCA of Greater St. Louis. We offer financial assistance – no one is turned away because of the inability to pay.
