Guided tours of a seven-level natural wonder. The cave is reputed to have been used as a hideout by Jesse James. Facilities include: restaurant; gift shop; motel; campground; canoe and raft rentals; boat rides; sluice; picnic areas; and a candy store. Zipline thrill ride on-site.

Cameron Cave offers a different underground adventure; you will tour the cave by lantern light, seeing it as it was when first discovered. The only changes made were those necessary to make the tour more comfortable and to meet Missouri State Safety regulations for show caves. This guided tour takes you through this complex maze cave. The tour lasts about 90 minutes. This is a unique cave experience. Open Memorial Day-Labor Day. Co-located with Mark Twain Cave; one mile south of Hannibal on Route 79.

Cave tours are conducted over concrete pathways through the cave's 60 degree (Fahrenheit) environment. One-hour guided tours leave every fifteen minutes. Facilities include a rock shop, a gift shop, mining sluice and a wedding chapel. Two miles north of Camdenton on Route 5, at Lake Road 5-88; by water, at the 10 mile marker on the Big Niangua arm of the Lake of the Ozarks. Closed 1 January, Thanksgiving and 25 December.

This is the cave author Mark Twain described in five of his books. It is listed as a National Natural Landmark. The tour lasts one hour and the cave is 52 degrees year-round. This is a labyrinth cave, one of few in the world, where the passages form criss-cross style patterns. There are no steps, but good walking shoes are recommended. Located two miles from Historic Downtown Hannibal on Missouri Route 79.

Marvel Cave, a Registered Natural Landmark, opened for tours in 1894. The cave, which lies beneath Silver Dollar City theme park, was the first attraction to bring tourists to the Branson area. One of the deepest caves in Missouri, it has one of the largest subterranean entry-rooms in the United States.
Cave tours are included with your admission to Silver Dollar City: $53; age 62+, $51; ages 4-11, $43. Season passes are available. Open March-December.

This cave contains archaeological evidence of human occupancy 7,000 B.C. to A.D. 1,400. Artifacts from this cave are displayed in the Smithsonian Institution, Washington D.C. Miller Cave is part of a cave complex in the bluffs above the Big Piney River along the southern boundary of Ft. Leonard Wood. It is one of the largest caves on Fort Leonard Wood; it is the only cave open to the public. A trail leads to the main entrance, in a bluff approximately 150 feet above the Big Piney River; two more openings face the river, affording a spectacular view of the river valley. One of the world’s largest man-made caverns, founded in 1860 as one of history’s earliest deep-earth lead mines. This was the world’s largest producer of lead ore until it was closed in 1962. The mine has five levels. The two upper levels are lighted and used for one-hour guided walking tours along the old Mule trails, showing were miners dug with pick and shovel in the 1860s. The lower three levels form a seventeen-mile long, one billion gallon, illuminated lake which is the home of one of the world’s largest inland scuba diving resorts. Boat tours are available on the crystal clear water, with spectacular views of abandoned shafts and equipment. Scuba diving, illuminated from above the water by more than 500,000 watts of stadium lighting, offers visibility of more than 100 feet, in 58 degree water. Diving tours are conducted in groups of nine, accompanied by two guides. Located one hour south of St. Louis, off of Route 67.

No reservations are taken. Tickets: $5; younger than 13, $2. Tickets go on sale 30 minutes before each tour.

World-renowned cave scuba diving adventure in Laughlin Park. The average daily flow of Roubidoux Spring is 37 million gallons; 16th in Missouri. Temperature ranges from the upper 40s in winter to the low 60s in summer and fall. Roubidoux Spring is open to all certified cave divers. You must check-in and present your certification in the 911 Emergency Center, on top of the hill adjacent to the fire station. There is no diving fee. Contact the Waynesville Police Department for information.

This hidden treasure holds a cash of history of the Ozarks. Smallin Civil War Cave's 55-feet tall and 100-feet wide entrance has captivated visitors from the Osage to the first settlers to modern tourists. Your guided tour will last one hour. Our trails are wheelchair and stroller friendly. There are no stairs on our trails, just gradual inclines. Total round-trip walking distance from the Visitors Center is one-half mile. Gemstone and fossil mining are available. There is a free picnic area. Snacks, sodas, and water are available for purchase in the gift shop.
