Built around a circa 1834 limestone schoolhouse, believed to be the oldest standing schoolhouse west of the Mississippi River. In addition to the two guestrooms, we have a game room loft, a screened porch, and a high privacy porch for sun lovers. Located on 15 acres, we offer privacy and peace and quiet. Busy bird feeders, along with other wildlife, supply non-stop action and color. The owner, a former chef, serves big fluffy omelets or sourdough pancakes with huckleberry syrup for breakfast. Custom dinners are available by reservation. Guests are greeted by Daisy the basset hound, and Cocoa the chocolate lab.

Our three guestrooms (two connecting), each with private bathroom. We are situated on 52 acres, 39 of which are wooded, with two miles of trails. The other 13 acres are fenced pasture for our two horses, one donkey, twelve sheep and one goat. We have four horse stalls, a paddock and seven indoor/outdoor kennels for those traveling with animals. There is a $10 per night fee for these facilities. A full breakfast is served at a time of your choice. Two miles north of Houston, 1.5 miles off of Route 63.

A lumber baron's 1889 Victorian home, with original features. Four guest chambers and two suites in period decor with fine antiques, featherbeds, and private baths (some with claw foot tub and river view). The twin parlors offer magnificent cherry and walnut fireplace mantles with original Victorian tile surrounds.

A candle lit breakfast, served on fine china with crystal, silver and linens, is presented in the oak dining room, near a wall of 19th century stained glass windows. Enjoy the wrap around verandah, the Koi pond and the 20-foot waterfall.

This location was designed and built in 1917 specifcally to function as a brothel. Today LulaBelle's is a restaurant and Bed and Breakfast.

On Table Rock Lake. Three guestrooms with queen beds. The family unit, with a full view of the lake, sleeps six. Silver Dollar City is two miles. Breakfast is served on the deck or in the dining room.

We are in the trees, beside Table Rock Lake. Three guestrooms with private baths. There is a boat ramp 200 feet from the house. The gardens include a waterfall. Sit on your private balcony and listen to the sounds of water and enjoy the view.

Take a dip in Lake of the Ozarks; relax on our boat dock with swim platform. Pool privileges are available. The gazebo is a nice place for a wedding. Early morning coffee trays are delivered to your door before breakfast is served. Osage Beach Premium Outlets Mall, five golf courses, a local winery and fine dining are within ten minutes drive. On 40 secluded acres with woodlands, small pastures and private fishing ponds. Offering five guestrooms with private baths and bathrobes; some rooms have a fireplace; some with jetted tub. There are covered patios and an aviary/wildlife viewing deck. Two horse stalls are available in the barn; riding trails are adjacent in the Compton Hollow Conservation Area. For group events, there is a retreat area with private restrooms and a commercial kitchen. Group lunches and dinners are available, by appointment. A drive-up offers easy access for our disabled guests. Our guests enjoy the local culture with visits to Amish country, antique shops, old mills, Compton Hollow Conservation area and a Friday night Barn Dance. Located 20 minutes from Springfield; 15 minutes off of Route 60 and I-44.

The Southern Hotel ia a 200 year old landmark, one hour south of St. Louis. Guestrooms contain a unique collection of country Victorian antiques and whimsies. Bathrooms have old fashion claw foot tubs and pedestal sinks with brass fixtures. We have restored the large front parlors, the spacious dining room and one of the game rooms so our guests experience all of the charms of the past.
