We are a full-service RV park located on the banks of crystal-clear Big Creek. All 40 of our big-rig friendly sites have 30- and 50-amp electric, water, and septic hookups, cable TV, and Wi-Fi. We fill propane tanks on-site. We have private shower suites, an on-site laundry, a game room and a meeting hall to serve all your needs. Big Creek is good for wading, catch-and-release fishing, or swimming on hot days. The nature trail that runs along the creek is good for walking and enjoying the Ozark outdoors.

The home of Laura Ingalls Wilder, author of the "Little House on the Prairie" books, is located 12 miles from the campground. If you are interested in history, you can tour some of the nation's finest pioneer water mills. Missouri Park Campground is a Good Sam Park; camping is available from tents to big rig RVs.

The park has 90 level pull-thru sites and 12 tent sites. Each site has water, sewer, electric and free cable TV and wireless Internet.  There are handicap sites available. We have two bath houses, a laundromat, game room, miniature golf, swimming pool, and a two-acre fishing pond all on-site. There is also a recreational center available with seating for up to 120 people. We are open all year and have daily, weekly and monthly rates available. We are located 1.6 miles east of I-55 at exit 99.

The updated portion of the Cape Girardeau walking/biking trail will connect us to the water park and the Missouri Conservation Nature Center - both within one mile of our campground. Three restaurants are also adjacent to our RV park.  Please visit our Web site for additional information.

A modest campground along the banks of the Current River. There are 55 standard sites and three group sites; all are either on the water or just across the campground road from it. Pulltite is a great spot to begin or end a canoe trip.

Pulltite features the mile-and-a-half Pulltite Trail, with exhibits about the Ozark forest along the way. There is a kid-friendly visitor center, and ranger programs every summer weekend. There is a camp store and a canoe rental on the grounds.

Sites vary from spacious hilltop settings, where one can see for miles while overlooking grazing American Bison, to wooded sites overlooking an eight-acre stocked lake and restored wetlands. Take in the great outdoors while hiking the or riding your horse on trails. We have 25 large sites that accommodate big rigs, eight of which are pull-through. This area is full hook-up, 50-amp service; with a conversion pigtail for 30-amp service. The 16 Shag Bark Hickory sites are in a wooded area; they accommodate mini-rigs and have electric and water only.

Wild Boar Campground has 39 single sites, seven double sites, nine walk-in sites, and four group sites, each with table, fire ring, and a lantern post. Some sites accommodate RVs up to 40 feet. Drinking water and vault toilets are available. No electric or water hookups. No showers. No dump station facilities. On-site host will assist you. Open April 2-Oct. 4. The beach is open May 16-Sep. 6. You may reserve a campsite or a group shelter by visiting www.recreation.gov or calling 877-444-6777.

The recreation area features a 440-acre lake; fishing is permitted year-round. There are boat launches; rentable canoes and paddle boats; a concession stand; changing rooms; flush toilets; water fountains; showers; a 54,000 sq. ft. sand beach; a 12-mile loop trail; waterfowl hunting; and upland game opportunities. A day-use fee of $4 per vehicle is charged at the picnic areas and boat launches.

Shepherd Mountain RV Park is located in Ironton, Missouri. It is close to scenic Fort Davidson battlefield and is in the Arcadia Valley area near Elephant Rocks, Johnson's Shut-Ins, and Taum Sauk Mountain state parks.
