With vineyards on the land and hillsides overlooking the beautiful Missouri River, Hermann's German founders designed the city to convey old world charm similar to Germany's Rhine Valley. On a high bluff with a magnificent panoramic view of the Missouri River valley below. The large covered porch and open-air patio provide a perfect spot for rainy and sunny days. Sample wines in the George Husmann Wine Pavilion. Bring your own picnic or purchase specialty foods at the winery. Live music ($5 cover) on Saturday evenings, spring through fall. Oktoberfest is celebrated every week-end in October. See our Web site for schedules. Located two miles east of Hermann on Route 100.

Important NOTE for Buses and RVs: splease call before starting up the narrow private lane from Route 100, so winery personnel can stop opposing traffic.

The oldest continuously owned and operated winery in Missouri, established in 1855 on the original homestead of Adam Puchta. Sample and purchase our award winning wines and our signature port. Browse the gift shop. Enjoy a snack or picnic on the patio. No outside wine or alcohol allowed.

The winery is on a hill overlooking Hermann. Take a guided tour of the cavernous, arched, underground cellars before settling in for a wine tasting in one of three tasting rooms. Stone Hill’s tranquility is accented by the spectacular scenery. Cellar tours: $2.50; age 6-12, $1; younger than 6, free.

This is Stone Hill’s bottle-fermented sparkling wine production facility. Get a firsthand glimpse at the traditional 18th-century French method of making sparkling wine. Learn the secrets of Methode Champenoise. All of Stone Hill Winery's wines are available for free tasting and for purchase. North side of I-70 at exit 175.

Our winery and microbrewery sits atop the bluffs overlooking the Missouri River bottoms. After sampling our wines and beers, visitors can relax indoors or enjoy seating under our veranda, grape arbor and shade trees.
