Agritourism is a growing industry in Missouri because of the large amount of agriculture in our state. Visit one of our many pumpkin farms, dairies, u-pick patches or orchards, wineries, corn mazes, or Christmas tree farms.

The Warrensburg farmers market features fresh vegetables, fruit, jams and jellies, crafts, baked goods, fresh eggs, beef, plants and flowers. Held downtown.

A wide variety of locally grown plants and produce, as well as a variety of homemade jams, jellies and baked goods, are offered on the north side of the historic Carthage square.

Fresh locally grown produce and handmade craft items. Open air market with about 45 vendors. All produce is grown by our farmers, no resellers are allowed. Open May-October.

Our Farmers Market is a weekly, social event where friends meet after work and families picnic on the levee. The market offers produce, crafts, live music and prepared foods using market produce. The market operates May thru September.

In our eighth year, our Saturday morning tradition provides fresh produce picked within 24 hours of the market and brought to you by the farmers who grow it. Also many specialty vendors with everything from cut flowers and bedding plants to hand-painted artwork and small-batch soaps. Live music adds to the ambiance. Located downtown, within one block of the Amtrak Station and the Visitor Center. Held the third Saturday in April to the third Saturday in December

Our market has a wide variety of produce, honey, meats, plants, baked items and crafts. We have Market Cafe on-site. The market is open rain or shine, from the third Wednesday in April through the first Wednesday in October. Held at the Wommack Mill Pavilion, at Route 125 and Main Street. We are growers only. Our market accepts Debit and EBT cards. Eat Fresh--Buy Local--Stay Healthy.

Named the 2010 Farmers Market of the Year by the Missouri Farmers Market Association and the AgriMissouri.

Established in 1857, the 145-stall City Market is one of the largest farmers markets in the region. Merchants and vendors offer a variety of fresh produce, meats, seafood, flowers, specialty foods and other items from local farms as well as around the world. There is an extensive events calendar from April through October including concerts, food festivals and children's activities. The City Market is home to a unique collection of gift shops and restaurants; also the Arabia Steamboat Museum, which hosts one of the largest collections of pre-Civil War artifacts in the world.

The De Soto Farmers Market offers fresh local produce, community artisans, bedding plants, baked goods, and occasional live music and dance troupes. Located on the lot behind St. Andrew's United Methodist Church. From Route 21; east on Boyd St.; south on Tenth St. four blocks. From Route 110; south on Main St.; west on Boyd St.; south on Tenth St.

Open Saturdays, May 8 through October 23. We accept Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT). (Closed May 29; July 3; Sep. 4.)
