This getaway, located off the beaten path supplies a comfortable, secluded environment. One well appointed guest suite overlooks the valley from the Bluffhouse. The secluded cottage accommodates six guests. Try the 1880s Line Camp cabin in the woods; or stay in Aunt Phoebe’s Perch, an authentic Ozark log cabin in the trees, peering into the valley. Private river access with canoes provided.
Accommodations range from a two-bedroom suite with a full kitchen and cable TV, to rustic cabins in the woods. There is a community fire pit, drive through boat parking and a musical goat herder for entertainment. A public access boat ramp is less than half a mile. The grounds are trimmed by a small herd of goats, watched over by a security team of a donkey and a bloodhound. Crdoss-fenced; can accomodate guests with horses. We are surrounded by woodlands and abundant wildlife in the hills adjoining Truman Lake. Fincachivo is designed to appeal to hunters, fishermen, nature lovers and anyone in need of a quiet retreat.
Located 10 miles off of Route 65, between Sedalia and Warsaw. The steep, unpaved driveway is not recommended for low vehicles.
