Platte County CVB provides aera information, plus we are a Missouri Division of Tourism Affiliate Welcome Center. Platte County includes the river towns of Parkville and Weston; free tours at the Harley-Davidson plant; Kansas City International Airport; Zona Rosa shopping and dining district featuring the Improv Comedy Club; Springs Aquatic Center; great golf courses; charming Bed and Breakfast Inns; more than 4,000 hotel rooms; farmers markets; orchards; wineries; brewpubs; festivals; and hiking and biking trails.

Cole Camp is a historic city with a rich German heritage. Its downtown, dating from the late 1800s, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It includes houses built during the Civil War period. One of the first Civil War battles in Missouri was fought just outside of the city. Cole Camp is known as the place where the prairies and the Ozarks meet. The chamber hosts a variety of events throughout the year. The city has several antique and gift shops, restaurants and a winery that is open seasonally.
