Join us for the 7th Annual For the People Pow Wow May 24 at the Columbia Event Center. Activities include American Indian art and native food, raffles, Indian dancing and prize drawings.
The honored guest is Larry Sellers, who played Cloud Dancing on the TV show Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman. All drums are welcome.
The event will be held rain or shine, under a covered pavilion at Boone County Fairgrounds. Seating is limited so take your own chairs.

Admission: $3; school-aged children, $1; seniors and pre-school, free; three-day pass, $5. Camping: RVs, $20; tents, $10.

Have fun on the famous Bagnell Dam Strip at the Lake of the Ozarks. These once-a-month (May 9, June 13, July 11, Aug. 8, Sep. 5, 2014) happenings feature a world-class car show, with all makes and models of cars, trucks and motorcycles; lots of live music; yummy food; giveaways; shopping deals; helicopter rides; and children’s activities.
