Grant's Farm is the 281-acre ancestral home of the Busch family, located of the city of St. Louis. The Farm is home to more than 1,000 animals representing more than 100 species from six continents. Grant's Farm, operated by Anheuser-Busch, Inc., has been a St. Louis tradition for more than five decades.

The Farm takes its name from our 18th president, Ulysses S. Grant. In the 1850s, Grant founded and farmed a portion of the 281 acres. Today, this land is preserved as a living symbol of the Busch family's love for animals and Anheuser-Busch's commitment to wildlife conservation and preservation.

In 1905, using a portion of the proceeds from the 1904 World's Fair in St. Louis, the general assembly appropriated $185,000 to build the Supreme Court Building.

The three-story, red-brick building opened in October 1907. It features French Renaissance architecture, stone pillars at each wing of the front facade, stone trim and a slate roof. Prominent in the lobby is a massive marble staircase.

The building houses the offices of judges; the Supreme Court clerk and the clerk’s staff; two courtrooms; the two-story-high Supreme Court Library, and the office of the state attorney general.

Free, half-hour tours of this historic building are available during most business days. Tour times fill quickly, so please schedule your tour well in advance. Closed Saturdays, Sundays and state holidays.

The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art is considered one of the top art museums in the United States. The Nelson-Atkins features one of America’s finest collections of Asian art, as well as extensive collections of American, American Indian, Egyptian, and European art.

The Steven Holl-designed Bloch Building contains galleries of contemporary and African art, photography, and special exhibits. Enjoy art outdoors at the Kansas City Sculpture Park, a collection of sculptures by many of the 20th century’s finest artists.

One of the nation’s leading comprehensive art museums, containing more than 33,000 works of art. Areas of notable depth include: Oceanic art; pre-Columbian art; ancient Chinese bronzes; and European and American art of the late 19th and 20th centuries, with particular strength in 20th century German painting.

The museum offers a full range of featured exhibitions, a research library, four conservation labs, a varied annual schedule of special events, and community and school programs.

Located in Forest Park, the museum is the only permanent building remaining from the 1904 World’s Fair.

Citygarden combines sculpture, plants, fountains and architecture into one location in downtown St. Louis. The area offers a vibrant, serene blending of lush plantings and internationally-renowned sculpture with water, stone, architecture and design. The Terrace View restaurant is on-site.

Citygarden is bounded by Eighth, 10th, Market and Chestnut streets.

A 15-foot-long, steel replica of the Cuba-Salem branch train sits at the intersection of Route 19 and Washington Boulevard. Father and son team Glen and Curtis Tutterrow sculpted the train in three pieces, which were welded together. While visiting the train, please enjoy the 12 outdoor murals along the Route 66 corridor. Mural brochures are available in some area businesses and at the I-44 Visitor Center.

Built in 1906, this renovated and remodeled Missouri-Pacific Depot is now owned by the Aurora Chamber of Commerce. It houses the Aurora Historical Society Museum, filled with memories of yesteryear of Aurora and surrounding communities.

Life-size bronze statue honoring the 1st Kansas Colored Volunteer Infantry, the first uniformed all Black American unit to fight in the Civil War. The unit fought in the October 1862 Battle of Island Mound, also known as the Battle of Fort Toothman.

The old historic A.L. Webb School has been transformed into a museum housing artifacts, pictures, art collection, military and school memorabilia. The museum is not wheelchair accessible. In front of the museum stands the Veteran's Memorial, honoring all military men and women. The memorial is wheelchair accessible.

This museum, in a former school, documents the history of Agency, from the 1836 Platte Purchase to the present. After the Platte Purchase, Agency Ford was a thriving community, but, slowly, flooding caused the town to nearly vanish. Open by appointment.

In 1894, this roller mill and one-room schoolhouse was the focal point of the Alley Spring community. Park rangers in period costume show you how the mill worked, and how school was taught in the one-room schoolhouse. A variety of historic programs are offered. Open June thru August.

The Conservation Department purchased this 160-acre tract of land in 1982. It contains quality examples of lowland swamp and bottomland forest in Missouri. A 76-acre portion of the area is designated as a Missouri Natural Area and is managed and protected for its educational and scientific values. The area's bottomland forests support bald cypress, swamp tupelo, water locust, sweetgum, willow oak, overcup oak, water hickory, swamp chestnut oak, water elm, swamp privet, and many other species. A seven-acre natural lake, near the center of the area, is ringed with cypress-tupelo swamp. Some of the bald cypress trees are more than 500 years old. The lake contains swamp species, including the endangered taillight shiner and swamp darter. A boardwalk and platform have been constructed on the western side of the lake for nature viewing and photography. Tree seedlings and acorns have been planted in most open fields to help restore the diverse forest communities the land once supported. Over time, these areas will add to our dwindling supply of lowland bottomland forests.

Hunting, fishing, trapping, camping, dog training, launching and landing boats are allowed 24 hours a day on areas where these activities are permitted.

Allred Lake Natural Area is five miles east of Neelyville on Route 142 and 2.5 miles south on Route H to a southbound gravel road.

Established in 1977, this classic restaurant serves Irish and American cuisine at the historic site of the Weston Brewing Company.

Headquarters, archive and library of the American Truck Historical Society, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the collection and preservation of the history of trucks and the trucking industry. The archives, housed in the Zoe James Library, include more than 100,000 photographs, 30,000 pieces of sales literature, operator and repair manuals and a large display of die cast, tin, and wooden truck models.

Amidon Memorial Conservation Area is a 1,630-acre area located on the upper reaches of the Castor River. The forest's timber species range from mixed hardwoods to shortleaf pine to cedar glades. A granite shut-ins on the Castor River adds an interesting geologic feature. The Driscoll Tract contains two old grist mill sites that date to the mid 1800s, lending a historical flavor to the area. The area is located south of Route J, eight miles east of Fredericktown. County Road 208 fords the Castor River.

This rugged forest and old fields area has a hiking trail and 25 miles of field roads open to horseback riders. It also offers access to the Jacks Fork and Current rivers. The 39,325-acre area is north of Eminence and extends 15 miles west to near Summersville. It can be accessed by Routes 19 and 106, or Route D.

Sample our products in the Hospitality Room. In addition to our free tours, the Beermaster Tour is a unique opportunity to experience a behind-the-scenes look at how we brew Budweiser. This tour offers a more up-close-and-personal look at the brewing and packaging process, with a chance to sample directly from a Finishing Tank. Gorman Conservation Discovery Center building, located near the banks of Brush Creek at Troost in Kauffman Legacy Park, about eight blocks from the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art and within 10 minutes of the Country Club Plaza.

Located in the heart of the urban core, the Anita B. Gorman Conservation Discovery Center focuses its educational programs on helping urban children and adults appreciate the bounty and beauty of nature, and learn outdoor skills such as hiking, camping, wildlife viewing and growing native plants. Hunting and fishing permits, books, videos and educational materials highlighting the natural resources of Missouri can be purchased in the Missouri Outdoors Nature Shop.

The Anita B. Gorman Conservation Discovery Center provides a unique educational experience as well as a quiet place of reflection for residents and visitors alike to enjoy and appreciate nature's offerings.

Our basic hours are Mon.-Fri., 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with extended hours first and third Tuesdays of each month. The building is open until 9 p.m. for programs and meetings, and to 7 p.m. for permit and Nature Shop sales. First and third Saturday of each month, our hours are 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Trails are open daily during daylight hours.

We feature 10,000 square feet of primitives, advertising, old signs, quilts, fishing lures and more. We are an antique mall with a separate flea market area all under one roof.

We are located approximately 35 minutes south of Springfield; 30 minutes north of Branson.
