This is a maximum effort reenactment of the Battle of Monday's Hollow co-hosted by Collins Artillery Battery B—the only Civil War battle fought in Camden County.
The event takes place on the grounds of the Missouri Trap Shooters Association, located off Route A, in Linn Creek. The facility has an extraordinary amphitheatre-like viewing area for the battle reenactment.
There are Union and Confederate camps; sutlers camps; civil war goods for sale; craftsmen; food; and living history displays. Highlights include a Civil War era Ladies Tea on Saturday afternoon; live civil war music; period speakers; a spectacular Night Firing; and an evening civil war dance.
Reenactment mid-day Saturday and Sunday. Parking donation of $10 per car and $5 per motorcycle.
