As early as 1817, an ancestor of the Stam Family ran a bakery; over time the business developed a reputation for outstanding pastries and chocolates. In 1913, upon urging from his clients, Jacobus Stam, decided to specialize exclusively in chocolates. Hence, Chocolaterie Stam was created.
In the late 1970s it was felt America would appreciate the delicious chocolate treats as much as the Netherlanders did. Americans can experience a nearly 100-year-old Dutch tradition of fresh cream and nut filled chocolate bonbons from Chocolaterie Stam.
Cookies, wafers, coffee, tea and hot chocolate are available.
