Chamtiques is a unique shop which features antiques, collectibles and primitive items. You are sure to find something for all ages, from glassware to toys/dolls from the mid-1900s. Take a stroll through yesteryear and enjoy the memories you have, or make new ones to last a lifetime.
The shop boasts a large number of post-WWII hammered aluminum pieces; more than 200 lucky troll dolls; and primitive and antique tools and implements from local farms. Enjoy locally-made products during your visit to Chamois, which is on the south banks of the Missouri River.
Come relax with us in our 1876 historical building that started its life as a school and now offers a peaceful refuge from the hustle and bustle of the 21st century life. Our suites have a spectacular view of a small rural town. One of our special features is a 100-year-old operating pendulum clock.
We offer a full breakfast in our spacious dining hall. Each suite has satellite TV, wireless Internet, zoned heating/cooling and private bath. For your total comfort and relaxation, two of our suites offer a whirlpool with room for two, a large shower, double vanity and a king-sized bed. Our third suite is designed for families, with two double beds, dual vanities and a vintage tub for relaxing in.
We are dedicated to your every comfort with gracious and personalized service. We are located in central Missouri with Hermann and their many festivals just a short drive. There are many wineries within easy driving distance. Want to take in a Cardinal game or go to the Zoo? St. Louis is just a couple hours from our B&B.
On the other hand, for a change of pace, take a trip on the scenic Missouri River. Our picturesque park has a ramp for easy access to fishing, canoeing or pleasure boating. There is plenty of room to park your boat at the B&B. We are proud to be on The Lewis and Clark Trail. So much to do and see in Missouri and The Old School on the Hill is the perfect place to relax after a busy day.

Cities in Osage County include: Chamois, Morrison, Linn, Frankenstein, Loose Creek, Westphalia, Meta, Freeburg, Belle, and Bland. Natural features include the Osage and Gasconade rivers (the Missouri River also borders the county), as well as Painted Rock Conservation Area and Smokey Waters Conservation Area. The northwestern edge of Osage County is approximately 15 minutes from the Missouri State Capitol in Jefferson City.
The Osage County Agritourism Council is made up of business owners, educational experts, family farmers and other volunteers from Osage County. The goal of the council is to build Osage into one of the first counties in Missouri with an organized Agritourism effort.
