The Elderberry Festival III takes place June 7-10 and features two stages and 30 bands performing in Hartsburg. An advance purchase pass for all four days is $30; you must order by May 15. This includes parking and hike-in camping. The gate price for the four-day pass is $40.
Day passes are $5 on Thursday; $15 on Friday; and $20 on Saturday and Sunday. Children ages 12 and younger are admitted free with an adult admission.

Cole Camp is a historic city with a rich German heritage. Its downtown, dating from the late 1800s, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It includes houses built during the Civil War period. One of the first Civil War battles in Missouri was fought just outside of the city. Cole Camp is known as the place where the prairies and the Ozarks meet. The chamber hosts a variety of events throughout the year. The city has several antique and gift shops, restaurants and a winery that is open seasonally.

The Holden Farmers' Market is a member of the Missouri Farmers' Market Association and the Missouri Department of Agriculture's AgriMissouri Program. Membership in these organizations allows the Holden Farmers' Market to participate in contest, promotions, and events throughout the year. The Holden Farmers' Market always has a large variety of fruits, vegetables, baked goods and crafts. We are open every Saturday morning from 7 a.m.-noon at the Holden City Park.

Katy Trail State Park is the longest rails-to-trails conversion in the U.S. The flat, 237.7-mile trail is open for hiking, running, walking, and bicycling through Missouri countryside.
Many wineries, restaurants, bed and breakfast inns, motels, campgrounds and shopping opportunities are located along its length. More than half of the eastern section of the trail follows the Missouri River; after leaving the river, the trail meanders through peaceful farmland and small-town Missouri.
Horseback riding is allowed on a 25-mile section between Calhoun and Sedalia.

This is a u-pick berry and vegetable farm. Almost all of our produce is available for you to pick; or, if you call in advance, we'll pick it for you. We are open daily, except during inclement weather, from late April through October.
We start with asparagus in late April; followed by strawberries in late May and early June; after that, vegetables as they mature: tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, green beans, corn, and whatever else we had time to plant.
About the second week of July, we have blackberries—no thorns on the plants, mowed grass between trellised rows, and no chiggers. These last until about the middle or end of August, at which time the raspberries take over and last almost until frost.
If we get our pumpkins planted by Father's Day, we'll have pumpkins from late September until Halloween.
We are closed from November until the asparagus appears again the following spring.
