GROOVE (General Registry of Ozarks Volkswagen Enthusiasts) is sponsoring its 20th Annual June Bug Jamboree June 13-14. It will be in the shade on the grounds of Hood’s Service Center and Motel, located off Interstate 44 at exit 61 in southwest Missouri…or three miles from Historic Route 66 near Route K and Route 266.
Over the years, the GROOVE June Bug Jamboree has become an area summer staple for VW owners and enthusiasts. The Giggle Box Project, a local non-profit, will be on site with the Giggle Bus doing face painting, making balloon animals and spreading happiness. They have been chosen as the benefiting charity for this event.
All car show entries must be Volkswagen powered or bodied. Admission to the event is free. Entries to competitions, camping, car corral, and car show require nominal registration fees. For additional information visit our website.
