Discover the world of birds by learning all about our feathered friends who call your backyard home. This festival, at Sam A. Baker State Park, features live bird presentations, guided bird watches, crafts, food and other activities.

A falconer displays her live raptors. Learn about this hobby during this fun-filled festival. This event is in the park’s day-use area. End the day by experiencing the awe and wonder of America's amazing birds of prey, up close and personal.

The Raptor Awareness Program is presented by the World Bird Sanctuary, 7:30 p.m., in the park’s amphitheater. It showcases the spectacular raptors of Missouri, such as hawks, owls and falcons.
