The Master Suite is on the ground floor with a queen-size bed and spacious adjoining bath. You can feel your cares slipping away as you step into the jetted tub for a relaxing soak and you can choose to take a shower. This suite has a separate, outside entrance leading to a shaded sitting area.
The Loft Suite is upstairs, overlooking the dining room and great room. This suite contains a queen-size bed and attached bath. The Loft Suite has three additional full-size beds in the outer loft area, perfect for small groups.
We believe privacy is important, so will rarely have both suites booked at the same time. You have total access to the kitchen, dining room and great room during your stay. Because some like to sleep late and others are early risers, we serve breakfast at the time you request. Our menu includes an Amish casserole, fresh fruit, homemade jelly, bagels and cream cheese, milk, juice and coffee.
We gladly offer special rates and extended stays to parents and families of students at Cottey College for young women.

The teashop, Anna Marie's Teas, is located on the first floor of our inn and has teas to purchase for the tea enthusiast. Anna Marie's Teas hosts monthly tea parties and private events. Al and Brenda, the innkeepers, live just across the street from The Terrace Avenue Inn.
This is your own private, decoratively painted, Swiss chalet. A fully-equipped kitchen has a harvest table that seats eight comfortably. A full bath on the lower level is complete with a tub and shower.
Ascending the stairs to the natural pine open-beamed sitting area, the sun shines through the stained-glass windows. Behind an intricately-carved screen, next to the sitting area, is a semi-private trundle bed.
The enclosed master bedroom offers a custom made, antique, full-sized brass bed with a curtain draped, full bath (featuring a claw-footed tub) off to its side. Up the ship ladder stairs, there is another open-loft hideaway with an antique wrought iron and brass full-sized bed.
Discounts available for multi-night stays. Check-in time is 4 p.m.; check-out is noon. Special offerings, such as bottles of wine or a home-baked cake, are available for special occasions, with prior arrangement.
