Mid-America Arts Alliance supports the arts in a six-state region. We bring more art to more people through exhibitions, performances, and professional development. We are especially committed to supporting the cultural life of underserved communities that lack the resources to provide cultural programs and services to their constituents.
In Kansas City, MO, M-AAA hosts 10 events a year during First Fridays (exceptions are January and July). This includes art exhibitions in our headquarters as well as "LIVE! in the Crossroads" performances during the summer.
During First Fridays, exhibition hours are 5:30 p.m.-8 p.m. Concerts and performances are from 8 p.m.-10 p.m. At other times, gallery hours are 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Thursday and Friday, when an exhibition is installed. Please call 816-421-1388 to check. For more information, visit www.maaa.org.
