Craig Thomas, a resident of Cape Girardeau, is known for his fine art, murals, street paintings and commissions. His work, which has taken him throughout the Midwest and Europe, is displayed at the Black Door Gallery. Other artists are represented. Open first Friday of each month, 5 p.m.-9 p.m., and by appointment.

At Greenwells, you can watch a master cabinet maker. Mike Greenwell is a third generation cabinetmaker. You may stop in the store to see Mike at work; or perhaps catch one of his impromptu carving demonstrations.
Greenwells is a custom woodworking shop making a wide variety of products from tables, to cupboards and cabinets, to Christmas ornaments and historically correct building fronts with doors windows and all the details.
Hannibal boasts a strong arts community offering year-round arts programs. The Hannibal Arts Council hosts a full exhibit schedule in its galleries, plus workshops, school touring and dozens of art programs and services.
