Experience the lifestyles of the early 1800s as reenactors from across the country converge on Fort Osage for their national gathering. A variety of activities engage the visitors, offering a better understanding of how early explorers manage daily life. Special guided hikes introduce guests to the flora and fauna of the region.

This year marks the 150th anniversary of the Pony Express. On April 3, 1860, a lone rider left on horseback from the gates of one of the nation’s most historic landmarks, the Pikes Peak Stables in St. Joseph, Missouri. Carrying saddlebags filled with our nation’s hopes and dreams, the riders traveled 2,000 miles to Sacramento, California. Check our Web site for a full schedule and locations.

The Division II championship is a 32 team, single-elimination tournament featuring the champions of the Division II conferences, regional tournaments and at-large berths. Held at the College of the Ozarks.

The Show-Me State Games is an Olympic-style sports festival with more than 40 competitive sports for Missouri amateur athletes of all ages and abilities. This event is designed to inspire Missourians to develop their physical and competitive abilities and to foster an amateur athletic network of participants, volunteers and sports enthusiasts.
