This park, four miles west of Trenton, is dedicated to Gen. Enoch Crowder, founder of the selective service system. It features camping, hiking, mountain biking and equestrian trails, an organized group camp, picnic sites and shelters, and a lake for fishing and swimming.
Reservable basic and electric campsites, a group camp and a special-use camping area are your camping options at this park. Services include showers, water and a dump station. The park is dedicated to the memory of Gen. Enoch Crowder, who founded the selective service system. It features trails, picnic sites and a lake for fishing and swimming. Campers planning to carry in firewood must comply with current firewood advisories. The use of generators is prohibited in the campground, unless approved by the park manager. The Round House offers a unique opportunity: this unit once was a grain bin, but it has been remodeled and repurposed. Inside, you find a large living room and kitchen on the first floor; a winding staircase takes you to the second floor, which features the bedroom and a full bathroom. The Round House overlooks the fishing pond; feel free to fish at your leisure.
When you arrive you are greeted with a homemade pie. While you're here, you may choose to cook for yourself or have your meals prepared for you and delivered right to your table.
