This event raises money to for the housing and care of abused, abandoned, neglected and special needs animals in the lake area. This is an 18-hole, four-person scramble. The $100 per person entry fee includes golf, cart, lunch, drink tickets, appetizers after the tourney and prizes at every hole. There is a putting contest, a skins game and mulligans. Anyone can enter for a fun day on Lake of the Ozarks. Visit more 40 of our participating locations on the water to play your poker hand. Enter the Harbor hop by stopping at any of the check points. To obtain a hand, sign up and pay an optional $15 donation. Any player can enter more than once. The first card is drown at the checkpoint where the hand is purchased; six additional cards are obtained by hopping to six more checkpoints drawing one card, per hand, at each location. The hand is complete when the seventh card is drawn. To quailify the hand must be turned in by 7 p.m. at your last checkpoint, on Oct. 10, 2010. Winners will be notified by certified mail. Locations include: Dog Days, Shorty Pants, Backwater Jacks, Shady Gators, and others.

Cole Camp is a historic city with a rich German heritage. Its downtown, dating from the late 1800s, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It includes houses built during the Civil War period. One of the first Civil War battles in Missouri was fought just outside of the city.
