A 15-acre resort on the banks of the Sac River at the Caplinger Mills Bridge. Our restored three-bedroom Civil War Mill House accommodates eight; the four cabins each accommodate six. All are fully equipped, including linens, refrigerator, stove and microwave, bathroom with shower, heating, A/C and cookware. Tent and RV sites are available.
The Mill, built in 1842, burned down several times; twice during the Civil War by Shelby's Raiders. The mill ruins, the dam and the restored bridge are listed on the National Registry of Historic Places.
