We have three cottages that sleep six, located two miles outside of Ironton, 80 miles southeast of St. Louis. The country setting provides a peace and quiet not found in the city. Walk along Stouts Creek; relax by the pool; float the Black River using canoes, rafts or tubes. Trail rides are on the adjacent property.

Camping, floating, and live entertainment are offered along a half-mile of riverfront on the Black River. Electric sites are available. Camping includes firewood and entertainment. Day passes are offered. Camping packages and group discounts are available. Wheelchair accessible toilets and showers.
Music and entertainment are offered some weekends. Canoes, rafts and tube rentals. General store on-site. Located 20 minutes from Johnson's Shut-Ins; 15 minutes from Taum Sauk Mountain State Park; 35 minutes from Elephant Rocks State Park; 30 minutes from Fort Davidson State Historic Site.
A rustic, secluded log cabin with loft; sleeps six. It has a European style, two-story fireplace, indoor Jacuzzi brand tub, outdoor hot tub and a large front porch. Bear Cub Cabin is smaller, but also sleeps six. The three-bedroom lodge sleeps 10; it has a red granite, woodburning fireplace, large deck and outdoor hot tub. All units have kitchen and bathroom. The lodgings offer half a mile of private Black River beach front access. Float trips and weekend entertainment are available at Bearcat Getaway Resort. Located 20 minutes from Johnson's Shut-Ins; 15 minutes from Taum Sauk Mountain State Park; 30 minutes from Elephant Rocks State Park; and 25 minutes from Fort Davidson State Historic Site.
We are a full-service Good Sam RV park located on the banks of crystal-clear Big Creek. All 50 of our big-rig friendly sites have 30- and 50-amp electric, water, and septic hookups, cable TV, and Wi-Fi. We have a swimming pool, propane fill station, private shower suites, a 24-hour coin laundry, arcade, and a meeting hall to serve all your needs.
Big Creek is good for wading, catch-and-release fishing, or swimming on hot days. The nature trail that runs along the creek is good for walking and enjoying the Ozark outdoors. Nearby attractions include Black River, Johnson's Shut-Ins, Elephant Rocks, Taum Sauk Mountain, and Fort Davidson--just to name a few!

Bring your own horse; we have miles of trails to ride. Overnight horse boarding is available. Lessons are available for all levels and all ages. Younger than 18 must be accompanied by parent and must wear a helmet.
We have two cabins for rent; they sleep four. Weekday and weekend packages available. Full shower house. There is a bed and breakfast one mile east; campgrounds two miles west.
This 100-acre lake provides fishing for bass, sunfish and catfish. A boat ramp is available. Electric motors only. No camping is allowed. There is a five-mile, double loop trail for hiking, horseback riding and mountain biking. Those wishing to camp will find Marble Creek Camp and Picnic Grounds nine miles northeast, just off of Route E.
We are in the beautiful Arcadia Valley of the St Francois Mountains. All guestrooms have 70-channel cable TV and queen beds, micro-fridge, a microwave and Internet; our suites include a sitting area, separate bedroom and a jetted tub.
Our motel overlooks the civil war battlefield at Fort Davidson State Historic Site and visitors center. We are three miles from Elephant Rocks State Park; eight miles from Taum Sauk Mountain State Park (the highest elevation in Missouri); 14 miles from Johnson's Shut-Ins State Park.
Fort Davidson Restaurant is adjacent, serving meals from steaks to seafood, 6 a.m.-8 p.m.
Hummingbird Hideaway is a two-bedroom, one-bath cottage in secluded Peola Valley. We offer peace and quiet, complete with a spring-fed creek that runs through our property. Remodeled in 2009, so most everything is new, from kitchen to bath to bedrooms. We provide private access to the Black River. There are hordes of hummingbirds, in season.
The museum is housed in the restored 1941 Ironton-Arcadia Depot. It contains an extensive collection of Arcadia Valley and Iron County artifacts, genealogy records, and photographs. The collection includes the Union battle flag from the Civil War battle of Pilot Knob.
Located in the beautiful Arcadia Valley, among the highest mountains, streams, & waterfalls in Missouri. Overlooks the Fort Davidson battlefield; less than 15 minutes from three of Missouri's showcase State Parks: Elephant Rocks; Johnson's Shut-ins; and Taum Sauk Mountain (Missouri's highest point).
Baylee-Jo's Restaurant on-site serves award-winning barbecue, steaks, seafood, and house-made sides.
Shepherd Mountain RV Park is located in the Arcadia Valley. Picnic benches overlooking Stouts Creek are provided. Sites have sewer, and water hook-ups.
Clearwater Lake is a recreational lake in southeastern Missouri. Whether you participate in water sports, camp, hike, bike, fish or hunt, you'll find Clearwater Lake is a fine place to visit.
