Built in 1907, Dulany Auditorium is the oldest building on the William Woods University campus. Mrs. D.M. Dulany contributed $7,500 toward construction of the $24,000 building in memory of her husband. The stained glass portrait windows are of D.M. Dulany, W.H. Dulany and Benjamin L. Locke, all early supporters of the college. The building was used for chapel services and lectures during the early days, and it is now used for concerts and theatrical performances.
The Hughes Brothers Theatre was built in 1985. It was the first theatre in Branson owned by a nationally known star (Roy Clark). Today, we feature several shows, "it", Ayo starring Voices of Glory, the Hughes Brothers Christmas Show, 70s Music Celebration! starring Barry Williams, and a special New Year's Eve show.
Add a meal and dine in the theatre before the show. The theatre seats 1,200 including dinner-theatre (table top) seating. The Hughes Brothers Theatre is adjacent to the Lodge of the Ozarks, on Route 76.
