A variety of locally grown plants and produce, as well as homemade jams, jellies and baked goods are offered on the north side of the historic Carthage square from dawn to mid afternoon on Wednesdays and Saturdays throughout the growing season.
Experience the taste of mid-Missouri! Fresh vegetables and fruit, meat, farm fresh eggs, cheeses, honey, cut flowers, plants, artisan items and more. As a producer-only market, everything sold here is offered by the farmers and artisans who help sustain our region. SNAP accepted at all markets. Live music at the ARC market every Saturday! Rain or Shine!!
Our outdoor market opens in April behind the ARC recreation center, and runs thru October. Note: The address is shown above is the ARC location.
November thru March, the market moves indoors at the Parkade Center: 601 Business Loop 70 W.

Offering, among other choices: produce; fruit; grass-finished beef; pork; lamb; chicken; pies; baked goods; candy; spices and seasonings; jams and jellies; chicken and duck eggs; flowers; organic mixed-grain feed; herbal preparations; handmade jewelry; plants; chickens; rabbits; crafts; funnel cakes; snow cones; nachos; and coffee.
The market is open mid-April through October. Located in the city parking lot on Jefferson Avenue at the railroad tracks.
The outdoor market offers such things as fresh Missouri-grown plants and produce; canned jellies, fruits, salsas and vegetables; baked breads and sweets; homemade soaps, candles and lotions; handmade quilts, hair ribbons and kitchen items; plus handcrafted jewelry, home décor and wood products.
Items sold are required to be grown, crafted or prepared only in Missouri.
The market operates from Apr. 1-Sep. 30 and is located in our Visitor Center parking lot. Guests are welcome to browse our indoor facilities for additional handcrafted items, visitor information or use of our ADA-compliant restrooms. Our walking trail is available for guest use.
