The carousel was created by the Dentzel Company of Philadelphia in the 1920s; installed in 1929 at the Forest Park Highlands. In 1987, it was restored to its original beauty and installed in a climate-controlled building in Faust Park. The gift shop carries unique carousel related items, T-shirts, books, water globes, music boxes, postcards, balloons, children’s toys, and goodie bags for birthday parties.
