A 10-acre, self-guided, walk-through petting zoo with hundreds of exotic animals from all over the world. Feed is available for an additional charge.
We have camels; several species of antelope; several species of deer; Rheas; American Bison; peafowl; Moluccan cockatoo; goats; rabbits; pigeons; Silkie chickens; crested ducks; mute swans; Jacob's sheep; pythons; boas; Colubrid snakes; water turtles; tortoises; tarantulas; and many other creatures.
There is a bouncy house and an arrowhead hunting-ground that is free for the kids. Stroll across the 45-foot bridge, over a large pond, while feeding the koi and mute swans.
Admission: $5; younger than 3, free. We offer camel and pony rides for $5 per rider.
There is always a new adventure at the Kansas City Zoo. The Kansas City Zoo is one of the top zoos in the United States. Located on 202 acres in Swope Park, the Zoo is home to more than 1,100 animals from around the world.
The Zoo boasts some of the best penguin, polar bear, African, and chimp exhibits in America. Our polar bears, Nikita and Berlin, love their home in Polar Bear Passage. Come see our “must-see” world-class Penguin Exhibit, home to four species of penguins.

The Zoo is closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
Lazy L Safari Park is a walk-thru zoo featuring animals from Alligators to Zebras. Perched on the banks of a slow-moving creek, this is not your typical zoo. You can get up close and personal with more than 50 species of exotic animals. Visitors are offered a unique experience as they walk through the main barn, petting zoo, and park grounds.
Facilities include benches for animal watching; a gift shop; a picnic shelter; and a snack shack. Bring the family and have a picnic alongside our animal friends.
Open daily during the summer (June, July & August); open weekends only during the spring (March, April, May), fall (September & October), and winter (November thru February). Christmas at the Zoo held in November and December. Group tours and private parties are available daily with reservations.

This world renowned, 90-acre zoo is home to more than 18,000 exotic animals; many are rare and endangered.
The Penguin and Puffin Coast exhibit offers an underwater view of these oceanic birds.
The Sea Lion Sound exhibit combines the popular Sea Lion Basin and Sea Lion Show in a 1.5-acre new exhibit right in the heart of the Zoo. For the first time anywhere in North America, visitors can walk through an underwater tunnel into the sea lions' habitat to see the animals swimming all around them.
General admission is free. There are fees for some special attractions.
