Amazing Pets features exciting acts and tricks from a troupe of skilled dogs and trained housecats. The Branson family entertainment phenomenon began more than 50 years ago, in 1959 to be exact, when the four Mabe brothers, known as the Baldknobbers, began entertaining visitors on the Branson lakefront. Today, the family legacy continues to wow audiences by delivering everything from traditional country to today’s No. 1 hits and lots of side-splitting comedy.

Now, the second and third generations of the Mabe family carry on the family tradition of performing an all new show each year. Both longtime Baldknobbers’ fans and new fans alike appreciate the Baldknobbers’ family traditions that have made this show popular from generation to generation.

This late-night show is co-hosted by Grand Country nuts Jamie Haage (as Jim Dandy) and Mike Patrick. The show features special guest stars from the Branson entertainment industry, including celebrities such as Mickey Gilley and Roy Clark, along with the up-and-coming stars of tomorrow. Audiences enjoy the voice of Jackie Brown, and the power harmonies of New South; both are regulars on the show. For more than a decade, Brule has been blending American Indian sounds and rhythms to create a spectacular performance. The theatre is alive with soul-filling songs, accompanied by choreographed American Indian dance.

Buck Trent is a two-time CMA instrumentalist of the year, internationally renowned five-string banjo picker, inventor of the electric banjo, and a humorist. During every show, Buck performs on five instruments and keeps his visitors laughing with his down-home humor and mischievous take on life.

From the sensational fiddlin' of Bruce Hoffman to the yakety-sax of Jonathan Black to the country sounds of Kenny Parrott and Terri Williams (and her salute to the Ladies of Country), it's toe-tapping fun. As the beat goes on with Rob Blackwood and Randy McConnell, powerful pickin' is displayed on mandolins, steel guitars, fiddles and banjos.

Saddle up for a fun cowboy meal and show full of comedy and music the family will enjoy. Doors open at 4:15 p.m. with free popcorn and cowboy movies on big screens. This show features original lively music, used with mind boggling acts from world class artist who formerly performed with Cirque Du Soleil. Clay Cooper’s Country Music Express is more than just country music. The Hamner Barber Variety Show is an evening of entertainment featuring the magical illusions of The Hamners and the comedy of ventriloquist Jim Barber. The Hamners have been featured on NBC's World's Greatest Magic. Jim Barber has performed on many national TV shows, including CBS's Late Show with David Letterman. The show also features a talented troupe of dancers. The finale is an amazing multimedia tribute to American Veterans that is getting rave reviews.

The show runs mid-February through December at the Hamner Barber Theater.

During November and December the show takes on a holiday theme as The Wings of Christmas.
