In the spring and fall, see baby calves with their mothers. If you are lucky, you might glimpse a beaver at work and a great blue heron. The property is home to countless birds, wild turkey, eagles, white tail deer and other critters.
Bring your horse or ride one of ours. We hand-pick the horses to match your riding ability. Trail rides by reservation only. We have stall rentals on-site.

Bring your own horse; we have miles of trails to ride. There is overnight horse boarding on-site. Lessons are available for all levels and all ages. Younger than 18 must be accompanied by parent and must wear a helmet. We have pony rides for younger children.

At Crystal Creek Equine Center, we’re proud to offer guided horseback rides and riding lessons, including a therapeutic riding program. Bring your own horse and stay at Crystal Creek Ranch. We have over ten miles of trails on the ranch and connecting trails to Horse Camp on the Jack's Fork River, Angeline Trail Head, and Ozark National Scenic Riverways Trail System.
We have a limited number of rental horses for guided trail rides around the ranch and for private horsemanship lessons.
We offer a variety of unique lodging adventures for your stay. We have self-guided ranch tours; a small-animal area, walking trails, horse trails, camping, labyrinth, recreation center, and a four-level overlook deck. Our air-conditioned main hall is available for private events.
Golden Hills Ranch includes spring-fed streams, forest, massive bluffs, and caves so large you can ride your horse into them. There are more than 200 miles of trails and privately owned roads for equestrian use only. The trails are all marked and we provide a map so you always know where you are and where you’re going.
We have riding enjoyment for beginner to the most advanced riders; horse rentals; hundreds of campsites with water and hookups; horse stalls and paddocks; an on-site motel, bunkhouse and shower houses; swimming pool; exercise room; and many other amenities.

This seventh generation working cattle farm on Meramec River offers horseback riding vacations on gaited breeds: Missouri Fox Trotters, Tennessee Walking Horses and Peruvian Pasos – yes, your horse is always welcome.
Take in the river valley, wooded trails, pastures of cattle and the Meramec River as you travel at your own pace. There are plenty of places to swim and picnic.
This is not a "nose to tail" ride; guests have access to experienced, well-trained horses. You are welcome to bring your own horses; we have facilities for guest horses. We offer access to water and electric hookups.
