Located in rural northeast Missouri, amid corn and soy beans, our 17,000-acre farm is home to more than 6,000 Holstein cows and 1,500 goats. Milk from the cows and goats is made into cheese. Come see our 60-cow carousel in action.
The herd is not treated with artificial growth hormones. Since 2005, the creamery has grown to a current daily production capability of 3,000 pounds of hand-crafted, fresh and aged cheese.
Tours of the dairy and creamery are available. Please call for more information and to arrange a tour.
Shatto Milk Company is a small, family-owned dairy farm. Visitors may look around and visit our country store without reservations. All groups are welcome.
There is a blanket picnic area. We are committed to making your visit to our farm educational and fun.
Tours (90 minutes) of the dairy, bottling facility and farm are offered Tuesdays through Saturdays, year-round, by appointment. Tours: $5; younger than 3, free.
