Northland Exposure Artists' Gallery is an artist-owned and managed fine art gallery located just north of Kansas City in downtown Parkville.
We offer a variety of artistic expression and media, including: oil, acrylic, pastel and watercolor painting; a variety of mixed media and drawings; sculpture; handcrafted jewelry; photography; pottery and artistic gourds; stained glass; mosaics; and fiber art.
New artwork is continually introduced throughout the gallery, adding to the gallery's freshness and diversity. All of our artists live in the greater Kansas City area and work a few hours each month at the gallery, giving patrons an opportunity to visit with them about their work.
Silver Rails Gallery is one of the world's only stand-alone art galleries and museums dedicated entirely to works of railroad-related art. All of the art shown gives each viewer a look at the railroads alive today.
Some views take you on a trip to the past, some get up-close and personal, and some show you a different perspective of what we still have.
Also, the facility houses the Silver Rails Memorial Library, a repository of railroad artifacts.
The gallery features the works by student and professional artists. Located in the old gymnasium in Ophelia Parrish Hall, the gallery is open during the academic year.
