The award winning Challenger Learning Center is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to continuing the mission of the astronauts who lost their lives in the 1986 Challenger shuttle accident.
We provide hands-on space education programs to schools, corporations, community organizations and the general public.
The center features a replica space station and Mission Control center, where you can participate in a simulated space mission and be engaged in an unforgettable experience involving activities similar to those performed by NASA astronauts, scientists and engineers.
Climb So iLL is an indoor rock climbing facility offering a truly unique experience. It is located just south of downtown St. Louis in the former City Hospital Power Plant building at the intersection of I-44 and I-55.
The facility features world-class climbing walls for recreational and professional athletes of all ages. It includes 40 top rope stations, 55 foot walls, a dedicated training area, and instructional classes.
In addition, there is a fully stocked pro shop specializing in rock-climbing equipment, merchandise, and apparel.
With 60 years of entertaining behind them, Cool Crest has become one of Kansas City's premier family entertainment facility. Perfect for birthday parties, group events, or a night out with family and friends.
The facility boasts four full 18 hole miniature golf courses, a 7000 square foot video game arcade, a full pizzeria and restaurant, go-karts, batting cages, and a full-time event staff.
The Ice Terrace at Crown Center is Kansas City's only public, outdoor ice-skating rink. The Ice Terrace skating season runs November-March. Please visit our website for information, holiday hours and schedules.
Regular admission: $6; younger than 5, and ages 60+, free. Skate rental, $3 (skaters may bring their own). Skaters younger than 13 must be under the supervision of an adult (age 21 or older).

Washington Avenue is seeing “pink” at the Flamingo Bowl, an upscale bowling center offering 12 lanes of bowling. You may schedule private events.
The full bar offers beer, liquor, and wine, as well as an extensive drink menu featuring classic, modern and signature cocktails.
The kitchen serves up an eclectic mix of good food.
Grand Country a family destination: a total vacation experience with three live shows daily; 36-hole indoor mini-golf; Fun Spot for kids; pizza; custard; homemade fudge; Grand Country Buffet; possibly the world’s largest banjo and violin; shopping; and the Grand Country Inn hotel, with indoor and outdoor pools and an interactive water park that is free for guests.

Brand new for 2013 is Grand Country’s Farm Mini Golf Course. Guests will feel like they are back home on the farm while playing two different courses featuring life size whimsical and animated farm animals, a milk shed, water tower, horse barn, ponds, windmill, outhouse and a chicken coop. Sensors will bring the course to life by setting off sound effects and animations throughout the game.
Grand Country’s brand new Farm Mini Golf is the first course in Branson to feature a championship style course. Dependent upon skill level, players putt into one of two cups, making the course playable for beginners and small children, while creating a challenge for the most advanced players in this beautifully landscaped course.

Enjoy snow skiing, snow-boarding and tubing at Hidden Valley. Hidden Valley features a variety of trails, ranging from beginners to advanced, and includes The Outlaw and Badlands terrain parks for expert skiers and boarders. Lessons, season passes and group options are available.
Please visit our website for hours of operation and equipment rental rates. Hidden Valley's season varies based on weather conditions, but we generally are open 70 days each season. Be sure to check our website for updates on the conditions at Hidden Valley. All trails are lighted for night skiing options.
Our facilities include a cafeteria, a bar, a retail shop, a first aid facility, a ski school, and equipment rentals.

We are a professional croquet club. We offer open play during the week and on select weekends. We play a very fun and social game of golf croquet. We are available for company picnics, team building events and fundraisers. This year we expanded out and can now do larger parties and weddings. The Living Well Village houses leadership camps, with health and wellness programs designed for individuals, families and organizations. The facility can be rented for family or group events/outings. Operated by The Living Well Foundation, a not-for-profit organization.
Our mission is to create healthier individuals and families, through experiential learning across the life cycle. The Living Well Village assists individuals in reaching their highest level of wellness, through education with practice.
The hours listed are our regular hours; extended evening and weekend hours are available for groups with a reservation.
The Plaza Tennis Center is Kansas City's premiere public tennis facility, with 14 outdoor courts, located on the famous Country Club Plaza shopping area. The location features a pro shop, racquet re-stringing, professional services (lessons, hitting sessions for tourists and visitors), and a Plaza Courts Cafe. Court fees vary from $10-12 per hour; lessons are $45-$65 per hour.
The Puppetry Art Institute is a full-service museum, theater and puppetry center which includes daily workshops, monthly puppet shows, puppet repairs and demonstrations by professional puppeteers. Our Mission: To preserve and promote puppetry through education and entertainment for all ages.
The museum includes rotating exhibits and permanent collections. Museum admission: $3; younger than 16, $1.50.
The gift shop sells different styles of puppets and marionettes, toys and professional puppets, puppet-related merchandise, and puppet parts.

Steinberg Skating Rink, located in Forest Park, is said to be the largest outdoor ice skating rink in the Midwest. The rink offers public skating everyday it is open, including all holidays—no matter what the weather or temperature. Your skate admission is valid for all day; we do not have “sessions.”
Steinberg Skating Rink is available for holiday parties and corporate events.
The Snowflake Cafe serves appetizers, sandwiches, snacks, burgers, soda, hot chocolate, beer and wine.
Admission: $6; skate rental, $4 (hockey and figure skates, size toddler 6 to adult 15).

Team Central provides certified gymnastics instruction in a 22,000-square-foot facility with state-of-the-art equipment. We provide programs for ages 18 months to adult. Also, we provide instruction for children with developmental delays and physical challenges.
We host a special Kids Night Out program, for those ages 3-12, on the first Saturday of each month, from 6 p.m.-10 p.m. The cost is $18 and $15 per additional sibling if reserved by the Thursday before the event.
We host open gym every Saturday from noon-1 p.m for children in first grade and above. Open gym is available to children aged three-years to kindergarten the last Saturday of the month. The fee is $5. Reservations are not required to attend open gym.
Day camps for 5-12 year-olds are offered year-round from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. daily when school is closed; based on availability.
Team Central is available to host birthday parties and other special events.
We will host a large women's gymnastic meet at Americas Center Feb. 21-23. The 2014 St. Louis Classic, sponsored by Gateway Honda Dealers, is expected to feature 1,100 female gymnasts from across the country.
Our mission is to provide children and families a fun, friendly, and affordable place to go. We offer open jump, rentals, a birthday party room and fundraiser events. We also welcome school and church groups. Group rates, Wi-fi and Dish Network TV are available. Closed tot the public Tuesday and Wednesday for private bookings.
This 63,000-square-foot recreation center offers an aquatic center with a 14,000-square-foot natatorium that includes a leisure pool with beach-like entrance, interactive water features, lazy river, vortex, water slides, and four lap lanes. The gymnasium has a 13,000-square-foot gym that accommodates up to three simultaneous games of volleyball or basketball, as well as other activities. At least one court will remain open for drop-in use at most times. The on-site fitness center has 4,000 square feet with fitness equipment including treadmills, elliptical trainers, stationary bikes, and selectorized resistance equipment. A one-tenth mile indoor track is open to both walkers and runners.
The College Basketball Experience is not a museum. It is a high-energy, highly-interactive venue where casual and hard core fans of any age can totally immerse themselves in the game of college basketball.
Further cementing the area’s reputation as a hoops hotbed, Kansas City is home to the state-of-the-art College Basketball Experience (CBE). The 41,500-square-foot entertainment facility contains hands-on, interactive basketball exhibits and houses the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame. CBE is connected to the Sprint Center via a common lobby, adjacent to the new Kansas City Power & Light District. The Kansas City-based National Association of Basketball Coaches founded the facility with the intent of redefining the American sports hall of fame.
Visitors experience the coach-player relationship first-hand. Beginning with a last-minute pep talk inside the entrance elevator, a coach’s voice accompanies fans throughout the facility, guiding them through several dribble, pass and shoot stations to hone their skills.
CBE’s high-energy exhibits recreate the intensity of a college basketball game. Visitors experience the excitement of a slam dunk, no matter how high they can jump. SportsCenter fans feel at home behind the ESPN anchor desk, where they can call the play-by-play.
Each visitor’s journey ends with a stop in the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame, a quiet space devoted to the game’s greats. Interactive kiosks offer a glimpse into each inductee’s legacy.
The Kansas City area is no stranger to college basketball. Kansas City has hosted more Final Fours than any other city in the nation.

The Edge is a ropes course that includes, among other challenges: a rock wall; climbing cargo-net; inverted rock wall; cat walk; four zip-lines (one of which is 343-feet long); a 20-foot leap of faith; the sky walk; and a 48-foot giant swing.
Church, business, college, civic, youth, executive, sports and family groups are welcome to benefit from the course, aided by our well trained, certified instructors.
The Union Bowling Center, on the University of Central Missouri campus, is a family-friendly, 10-lane bowling alley with digital scoring and up-to-date equipment. The lanes are the perfect place for a date night, kid's party or a friendly get-together. Our bowling alley is open to the public seven days a week. Free parking across the street.
Weekends feature “glo-bowling” under black lights, with laser lights dancing to the beat of of the music. Party packages include pizza, soda, birthday cake and decorations.
To satisfy your hunger while you bowl, the on-site Chick-fil-A serves up fresh chicken sandwiches, spicy chicken sandwiches, waffle-fries, and milkshakes six days a week.
Upper Limits offers something for everyone. Our two massive arches and amazing top-out boulder challenge experienced climbers, while our introductory classes allow novices to learn the skills needed. (Climbers younger than 18 must have a waiver, signed by a parent or legal guardian.)
