Beggs Family Farm opens every October for its Fall Harvest. Every season has a new themed 10-acre corn maze to find your way through using decoder maps and clues. On-site activities include: wagon rides to pick pumpkins to purchase at market price; farm animal displays; a real working bee hive; hillbilly pig races; a giant slide; jumping pillow; pedal cars; miniature golf; and paintball arcade.
There is a gift shop for all your fall decorating needs and concessions are available. Your family can spend at least four to six hours exploring our farm and all the attractions for one price.
In the 1940s-1950s, every town in the USA had a small poultry hatchery located in town; today there are only about 12 of these chicken hatcheries that produce poultry chicks for the backyard user or small farm buyer. Cackle Hatchery is one of those 12 remaining hobby hatcheries and it’s located right here in Lebanon, Missouri.
Cackle Hatchery provides free limited tours, store, incubation viewing, resources and live baby chicks to see or purchase. Best times for visit are March to September.
Cackle Hatchery sponsors a fall festival in October with many education opportunities along with fun and games.
Carolyn's Country Cousins is a working farm located two miles south of Liberty. Our wagon rides into the pumpkin patch are just the beginning. You'll love a ride on Little Bud's Railroad, Uncle Lester's live pig races, mining for minerals, the Little Farmers playground, Colossal Fossil house, make your own scarecrow, the antique pedal tractor carousel and more. Dellicious country food and snacks are available in Aunt Kate's Kitchen. Right next door is the Liberty Corn Maze for more family fun.
Family owned and operated Christmas Tree farm with two tree fields totaling in 14 acres of cedar, white pine and scotch pine. Belgian horses carry your sled out to the fields where you can pick your own tree. Also, there is a Christmas Shop at the farm that sells gifts, decorations and 'fresh from the farm' wreaths.

Family-owned Peters Orchard and Market in Waverly features over 500 acres of apples and more than 20 acres of peaches. Orchard production generally goes from mid-July to the end of November.
In addition to retail and wholesale apples and peaches, Peters Market’s features other locally-grown produce in season; fruit butters (apple and peach) and jams made in their on-site kitchen; honey, sorghum, salsas, nuts, snack mixes and more made especially for them.
There are a free kids’ playground and a picnic area on-site.

Come out and join the fun in Dixon. There will be a pumpkin patch, kids train, hayrides, bounce house, corn bin, straw maze, petting zoo, giant slingshots and a full concession with plenty of food and seating. Call for details 573-759-9045.
